Description
Layered chocolate strawberry cups inspired by Dubai’s viral pistachio-kataifi filled chocolates.
Ingredients
Fresh large strawberries
Belgian milk or dark chocolate
Golden toasted kataifi pastry
Pistachio cream (jarred or homemade)
Instructions
1. Toast 1 cup kataifi in dry skillet until golden, set aside
2. Melt 8 oz chocolate in double boiler
3. Dip 12 strawberries in chocolate; place on parchment to set
4. Spoon some pistachio cream, then a layer of kataifi into 4 glass cups
5. Nestle 2-3 strawberries per cup, drizzle extra chocolate and top with kataifi
6. Refrigerate 10 minutes, then serve off-chill for 5 minutes
Notes
Use dark chocolate and unsweetened pistachio cream for a lighter version. Store leftovers refrigerated and enjoy within 2 days.
